Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large enterprise environment
  • Proven experience in IT operations, system monitoring, or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure with cloud services and managed IT solutions.
  • Proficiency in using IT monitoring and reporting tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, or similar. And data visualization and analyzation as PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data for insightful decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively managing third-party relationships.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL (with an emphasis on Service Strategy or Service Design), MS365, Microsoft 365.
  • Extensive experience in IT system management, preferably in a monitoring and reporting capacity.
  • Proficiency with ITSM and Patch Management tools such as Manage Engine, BMC Remedy, or similar.
  • experience in SaaS cloud infrastructures, particularly with platforms such as MS365, Oracle ERP Fusion, and Manage Engine products.
  • Proven track record in improving IT services and systems through strategic initiatives.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Skilled in using tools such as PowerBI to create insightful, actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledgeable about cloud security principles, data protection, and compliance standards relevant to SaaS platforms.
  • Ability to diagnose issues, optimize system performance, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership in team settings, promoting collaboration and driving collective goals.
  • Capable of strategic foresight in IT development, integrating innovative solutions to improve system efficiency.
  • Committed to continuous learning and maintaining relevant certifications in cloud technologies and IT management.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse IT system performance and health, compile performance reports and recommend enhancements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve performance issues and implement solutions.
  • Develop performance metrics and benchmarks for IT services and ensure adherence to these standards.
  • Initiate service improvement actions based on analytical trends.
  • Manage incident escalation processes to adhere to SLA parameters.
  • Assist with system upgrades and implementations by analyzing system requirements.
  • Ensure IT processes comply with relevant laws and regulations and prepare compliance reports.
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements.
  • Conduct regular maintenance health checks and verify system backups.
  • Predict future infrastructure needs and plan capacity based on data analysis.
  • Optimize infrastructure design in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Monitor the deployment of software and services to ensure quality standards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive metrics and reporting framework.
  • Produce regular reports detailing IT performance and strategic outcomes.
  • Negotiate and revise SLAs with service providers and internal teams to ensure all SLAs meet stakeholder expectations.
