Description:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • A 3 year degree in computer science or 5 years of equivalent professional work experience.
  • 5 years of experience as an IT specialist along with 3 years of experience within a secure network environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Windows, Linux and Mac experience in an on-premise environment.
  • Proven track-record in technical support positions for both hardware and software.
  • Experience with Powershell scripting
  • Experience with source code control systems (Gitlab preferred) is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of security concepts and precepts is a strong plus.
  • Experience with networking security (VLANs, firewalls, proxies) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with system administration of Windows and Linux machines is a plus.
  • Experience with VMWare/Hyper-V or other virtual machine hypevisor is a plus
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues that include SaaS subscriptions.
  • Purchase resources as required and maintain the IT inventory.
  • Manage business software services: identity and access control system, email, office software, firewalls.
  • Manage on-premise compute services including X2O Medias audio-video QA labs.
  • Manage office network services
  • Use configuration-as-code to control resources via source management over CI/CD wherever possible, otherwise maintain formal audit trails for change management
  • Identify issues, propose solutions and establish priorities and roadmap with the Architect.
  • Collaborate with X2Os cloud infrastructure team when required.
