Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Engineer with experience in Java, Spring boot, ReactJS, and cloud platforms (such as Pivotal cloud foundry), developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5+ years of experience as Java FSE).
• Experience working with the cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift Container Platform, and cloud related technologies.
• Application development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API stack.
• Experience in UI Frameworks like REACT and developing front end screens from scratch.
• Experience in Relation Databases like Oracle and ORM frameworks.
• Spring Security and Spring Batch.

Competent and Proficient Engineer with React and Microservices - API / Event Driven Arch with OCP / Postgres Kubernetes exp.

• Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production.
• Tends to novices by providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks, directs the work of advanced beginners, and helps them continue to grow.
• Achieves team commitments (and influence others to do the same) by using informal leadership & highly developed communication skills.
• Has an oversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve key results for products assigned to them.
• Remediates issues using engineering principles and creates proactive design solutions for potential failures.
• Experience with Spring, Containerization, DevOps and CI/CD
• Drive TDD and ability to design Unit, Integration, Functional and Non-Functional Tests (Reliability, Performance & Cyber security).
• Strong fundamentals in Java, API first design.
• Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including Microservices.
• Database experience in Oracle, PostgresSQL, etc.
• Cloud experience (i.e., AWS).

Working experience in front end technologies. React JS Knowledge is must.
