POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lab Product Specialist is the face of Kuraray Noritake Products to our customers. This position is responsible for providing information and technical support to optimize our customer product experience and ultimately increase our sales regionally. Using your deep understanding and technical knowledge of digital dentistry, you will grow brand awareness, manage a sales territory, and build long-term customer relationships. This position requires frequent overnight and extended travel to visit customers in the field. You will communicate internally and externally regularly (via Teams, phone calls, text, emails,) to develop leads, gather market and customer data, organize local events, represent our portfolios at trade shows, and generate contact reports in Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to maximize value to customers.
  • Research, plan, and execute quarterly travel plans designed to grow sales throughout your territory.
  • Frequently contact customers including cold calls to present the features and benefits of Kuraray Noritake products, consult with dental professionals, and provide exemplary customer support.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to determine their needs and present the appropriate products, solutions, and services.
  • Competently represent our portfolio and conduct sales during tradeshows. International travel may be required.
  • Identify and/or develop local sales organizations and events to support sales goals.
  • Communicate relevant sales promotions and pricing to customers, as needed.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports (monthly, event, and Salesforce) as required.

Skills:

  • Ability to independently manage and develop a portfolio of accounts.
  • Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule (on average of 50% of your work month per month of travel expected) that will allow for regular and consistent contact with our customers and opinion leaders in your territory.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively (verbally, and in written form).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and strive for excellence in both team and individual tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or extensive work history as a Dental Technician (DT).
  • 10+ years’ lab sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
  • Previous work competitively selling, marketing, or providing customer service in digital dentistry with zirconia discs, porcelain, or related products.
  • High degree of computer proficiency including: Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce or similar CRM, Smartsheet, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual (Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish) a strong plus.
