Sr. Launch Engineer will be part of Launch/Operations Project management team, supporting Manufacturing Ops for Automotive & Industrial parts & will be responsible for all deliverables in accordance with the project timeline, business objectives & customer’s requirements.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Leads multiple projects assigned & works independently with Program Managers/Business units & Customers for new products/components fulfilling manufacturing APQP standards.
  • Determine necessary CAPEX required for the manufacturing plant and meeting financial targets and drive to reach the targets.
  • Be responsible for production line transfer from other sites to our Zacatecas facility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customers for completing the project within the agreed timeline and budget.
  • Transform Engineering BOM to Manufacturing BOM and evaluation of Product P&L and any other activities assigned with respect to Launch Management.
  • Co-ordinate with Procurement/Supply Chain teams for order management of raw materials and follow-up.

Our requirements:

  • Industrial Engineering degree or related
  • +7 years of experience in project/launch management
  • At least +5 years of experience with injection molding & assembly processes for automotive industry
  • Fluent in English communication
  • Relocate to Zacatecas, México
