We are seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Lead Architect to join our Corporate Technology team. This individual will lead the Architecture Strategy and Innovation efforts, focusing on harmonizing firmwide strategies and projecting Target State roadmaps. The successful candidate will have a strong background in strategy advisory and a hands-on understanding of emerging trends in the banking and technology sectors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in IT architecture or strategy roles within Consulting or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated proficiency and ideally hands-on experience in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Strong understanding and ideally hands-on experience with emerging technologies and trends in banking and tech (e.g. blockchain, quantum computing).
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster a collaborative environment.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships with senior executives.

Responsibilities:
- Leads the development of architecture strategy covering organisational structures, architecture processes and tooling.
- Collaborates and leads the target state definition for product teams and drives the achievement of the strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate strategic initiatives across the firm.
- Spearhead initiatives to explore and implement emerging technologies, enhancing efficiency and innovation.
- Establish processes to evaluate and streamline proof of concepts, ensuring alignment with business and technical capabilities.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation within the architecture community.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote collaborative discussions and knowledge sharing.
