Description:

Synectic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to provide production support to the PMA-276 production logistics organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management.
  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems performing any of the following: LORA, Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis.
  • Life Cycle Costing experience desired.
  • Four years’ experience supervising and directing at least three logistics analysts in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition Command or supporting an acquisition command.
    ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop presentations to support production team meetings, management reviews, logistics team reviews, audits and other requests for presentation/briefing information as it relates to the production efforts.
  • Prepare and develop production presentations will range in scope from detailed in-house briefings to Senior Executive type briefings outside the supported organization.
  • Provide production support services for PMA-276 programs in the preparation, scheduling and documentation of logistics meetings, modification review meetings, maintenance, engineering, and logistics reviews, critical parts reviews, affordable readiness initiatives, logistics documentation reviews, logistics data calls, etc.
  • Use the approved NAVAIR LRFS tool to assist in the development of the LRFS for PMA-276 production programs.
  • The LRFS shall break down the product support functions and sub-functions to establish a required level of product support and the funds available to meet those requirements.
  • Assist in processing and routing PID for PMA-276 production programs. Review PIDs for financial data elements and addendum sheets to ensure correct accounts are identified and coordinate with the designated BFM to ensure the information contained with the PIDs is accurate and the funds are transferred.
  • Update the AWIS, to include OPOM and TPR for Program office Production Programs.
  • Assist the Government in modifying, and updating the LCSP / ULSS Support for production actions that start with Milestone C, as defined in the AT&L Memo, Document Streamlining-Life Cycle Sustainment Plan and SECNAVINST 5000.2E Department of the Navy implementation and Operation of the Defense Acquisition System and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System.
  • Provide recommendations for updating and modifying alternative supportability solutions for PMA-276 current production weapon systems.
  • Support BCA for PMA-276 current production programs using a structured methodology that aids decision making by identifying and comparing alternatives
  • Business Case Analysis shall be performed in general accordance with the DoD Product Support Business Case Analysis Guidebook, 2011.
