JOB OVERVIEW

Develop fit for purpose AIML models/algorithms/processes to address pharma/healthcare applications and innovative products upon completion of prototypes followed by the building of production grade algorithms/automation engines for client delivarables. Test for viability in order to deliver final products to clients. Able to bring newly researched ideas to reality quickly and on a large scale. Design, build, test, and deliver products from post-prototype to client delivery.
Collaborate with a team of Architects, developers, Testers and PRM /Production teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree Master’s Degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related field
• 6-8 years’ experience working on creating machine learning algorithms
• Programming experience using one or more of the following: Java, C++, Python, R, Go, Kubernetes, Deep learning or equivalent
• Experience working with large, real world datasets

• Leads the transformation of machine learning research domain expertise in the areas of human data into viable prototypes
• Leads the development of features of models on individual projects and/or products with guidance and support from others
• Develops understanding of the creation of new algorithms through working alongside other Machine Learning Engineers and Machine Learning Research Scientists
• Leads the building and training of new production grade algorithms that can learn from complex, high dimensionality data in order to uncover patterns from which machine learning models and applications can be developed
• Uses a variety of techniques in order to improve the performance of individual natural language processing and/or machine learning algorithms
• Leads the testing and validation of models to determine viability for deployment with guidance and support from others
• Leads the creation of fit for purpose experiments and prototype ideas to address pharma questions
• Consult for internal and external clients, leads solution development and innovation for complex proposals, leads client AI project technical delivery
• Models data for the purposes for analytics and reporting in order to facilitate clear and simple access to non-technical users across varying Business Units.
• Reviews business requirements with regards to reporting, advises on the pros and cons of the possible technical solutions.
• Translates those business needs into technical specifications and provides input to the requirements for the development of a solution.
• Develops a full understanding of all relevant consumer health data and the data processing platform in which it resides.
• Hands-on experience of development in AI/ML & NLP area ;
• Technical Skills: Familiar with Pyspark or equivalent, had been exposed to Databricks or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of SDLC and ability to develop and test code that can be eventually deployed in Production environment
• Provide Support to QA and UAT team as and when defects are discovered during testing and constantly looking to improve the models/algorithm taking new reference data available into account
• Comprehensively and coherently documents work in Confluence. Tracks and defines work within JIRA.
• Good oral, written and documentation skills to work with different component teams
