What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll manage a team at the heart of CIBC’s Business Banking transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Senior Manager, you are responsible for owning and executing delivery of custom Salesforce solutions to support Business Banking end users. The Senior Manager, Salesforce Development will drive Salesforce implementation and delivery and will manage projects and developer resources, interact with management and other stakeholders that promote performance, scalability and security. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of support services, and ensure adherence to standards and operating procedures.

How You’ll Succeed
- Understanding Requirements – Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Works with management and stakeholders to define requirements, design and create new processes roadmap and schedule. Work with development and operations partners to determine, negotiate, and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
- People Leadership – Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Provides guidance to ensure assigned projects are implemented to schedule and plan. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems. Coordinates with and advises developers on data quality and developing automation .
- Application Services – Work closely with operations and development partners to develop, test, and implement Salesforce initiatives. Communicates with all levels of IT and keeps management apprised of issues and concerns. Monitors industry trends and best practices and recommends to Applications Development Director changes to practices that may benefit the college policies and procedures. Impact and improve these processes by advising owners on the technology possibilities and requirements.

- You can demonstrate experience in Salesforce packaging and deployment. Deploying Azure components such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Azure DataBricks and Azure ASE. You have provided DevOps services as a Senior Manager for 3 years, effectively managing changes to the production environment and technology-based assets of the organization and assessing technical information to develop solutions that will improve process effectiveness and efficiency. It is an advantage if you have experience within an Agile environment.
