WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for strong leaders to join our Technology Wireless/Connected Home/Customer Experience, Rogers Bank and TSC Project Management Office. Our mandate is to ensure we consistently work as One Rogers to deliver excellence with urgency through disciplined execution. Our approach focuses on the quality end-to-end experience of our employees and customers, sustainable performance and value and continuous improvement. In addition to being able to manage simultaneous complex programs, successful candidates should be able to lead, mentor and manage a team of project management professionals in delivering various project portfolios.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build and foster a trusted partnership with sponsors and key stakeholders, proactively managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead a portfolio of highly technical projects, ensuring delivery on plan and on budget
  • Manage and provide portfolio oversight, partner with stakeholders to understand priorities and resource needs.
  • Own, direct, manage, and oversee the daily delivery components of complex program(s) /project(s)
  • Proactively review the performance of projects within the portfolio, working with all stakeholders to mitigate issues and risks to deliver on scope, schedule and cost objectives.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of project management professionals by providing guidance, direction and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
  • Ability to set annual performance targets for individuals and the team, setting development plans and conducting performance reviews
  • Provide regular visibility to project status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics) on a standard cadence through status reporting and project reviews.
  • Implement standards and drive continuous improvement of project management practices.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of processes and change management activities.
  • Focuses on continuous improvement. Challenges the status quo and breaking paradigms to identify ideas for change and becomes the force.
  • Develops an environment that embraces change; makes change happen, even if the change is radical, and helps others to accept new ideas
  • Building a high-performance technical project team that understands how to effectively deliver high value services through internal, outsourced partners and other vendors
  • Building a team with a customer and delivery focused culture that is agile, responsive and seen as providing excellent service
