Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an outstanding Sr Manager, Finance to join our team. As the Sr Manager, Finance, you will play a key role in supporting Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Drug Product Division (DPD) and the global Oral Solid Dose (OSD) network. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving strategic alignment and operational tracking of commercial initiatives across different business units
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to improve asset utilization and model new investment opportunities
- Providing financial oversight and promoting standard methodologies to enhance the OSD network’s performance
- Provide finance steering & coordination during business development initiatives, both internal (markets & technologies) and external (M&A, 3rd party, ..)
- Coordinating business development initiatives and harmonizing deal modeling and quotation activities
- Working closely with the Legal team to support contract framing for multi-site OSD projects
- Supporting standard operating cycles (monthly and quarterly business review, Annual Operating Plan & long-term Strategic Outlook) assuming direct ownership of certain streams (portfolio projections, sales targets definition, …).
- Drive the development of new systems to improve analytical capabilities
- Collaborating with the Divisional Supply Chain leader to refine capacity utilization models
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, a minimum of 10 years of relevant finance work experience is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven history of participating in cross-functional teams are also essential. Ability to lead multiple assignments, to apply good judgement and priorities projects and time efficiently is essential.
