Description:
The job holder is responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of European people development programs. In strong collaboration with our global Headquarters in Tokyo you represent Europe in global people development projects and you work closely with our European countries to align on customer demands and support timely and effective implementation.
PERSONAL SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- University degree in business administration, human resources management, psychology, communications or similar
- At least 7 years of professional experience in HR roles, with focus on people and leadership development, communication or culture development
- Additional qualification in one or more of the following fields desirable: systemic consulting, organizational development, coaching, diversity programs, New Work
- You bring experience in the conception and implementation of trainings and workshops and have a sound methodological know-how
- Experience in working in global teams
- You convince with a strong collaboration mindset and distinctive communication skills
- Experience in partnering with Senior Leadership
- Strong intercultural competencies
- Fluent in English; German or other European languages are an advantage
Responsibilities:
Global Cultural Initiative (GCI): Cultivating “One DS Culture” is one of the highest business priorities for Daiichi Sankyo. This initiative drives our globalization.
You will be part of the event and training team of our GCI and represent Europe. Being a GCI representative provides the individual strong global exposure at the highest level of the organization. Your contacts range from the regional HR Business Partners to the global stakeholders.
You drive actively the development and support of our European cultural ambassador community as well as our global managers. You partner with the GCI training team lead and involve yourself in the design and execution of the yearly conducted workstreams “Leadership Forum” and “Cultural Ambassador Workshops”. For that you can expect two trips to Japan within the fiscal year.
Inclusion & Diversity (I&D): “Be Inclusive & Embrace Diversity” is one of our core behaviors as part of our One DS Culture. While the overall One DS Culture activities are mainly driven by the global team, I&D focusses more on regional aspects to further evolve our company in this area. You will closely cooperate with our Head of Corporate Communications Europe, Inclusion & Diversity and drive the development and implementation of initiatives from an HR perspective. You will design measures to raise awareness and support our people so they can contribute to an inclusive workplace.
Well beeing & Health: You work closely with our wellbeing experts of our European affiliates, other internal and external stakeholders and drive actively the European Wellbeing & Health strategy. You plan, develop and execute measures. In Germany, you use the available options from occupational health management, e.g. the offers from health insurance companies.
As a passionate all-round talent, and to be anchored firmly in the European organization, from time to time you will conduct trainings and workshops, accompany team and leadership development processes where needed.
