Description:
THE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The following combination of experience and skills would be helpful:
- University degree (or similar) in a relevant scientific field (for example: Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering).
- Validated understanding of electron microscopes or materials characterization techniques.
- Proven managerial experience exhibiting leadership and mentorship skills to develop and drive colleagues to meet business objectives.
- Experienced in interacting with highly technical customers. Skill in communicating complicated technical concepts to various audiences.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to facilitate communication with management, partners, customers, product marketing, R&D and Sales.
- Validated ability to independently diagnose, propose and implement solutions in highly dynamic environments.
- History of market and or business and or sales development. Understanding market sizing and ability to draft plans on how to assess and access a new market.
- Willing and able to travel internationally up to 30%
Responsibilities:
- Developing positive relationships with key customers to identify and evaluate new market segments and quantify the potential business opportunity
- Crafting and owning collaborations with our customers
- Provide business updates to key partners including market trends and changes in competitive landscape
- Coordinate with product, commercial and marketing teams on developing global and reginal marketing campaigns around key growth initiatives
- Facilitate workshops with marketing and product marketing managers focused on key growth verticals.
- Attend events on selected high growth or new ‘verticals’ and feed back to our organisation to help understand the business potential
- Develop and coordinate regional training programs for our sales teams on strategies, relating to key segments.
- Responsible for planning, agenda and report-outs for our academic and industrial advisory board meetings
