JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager of Deployed Operations plans, directs and supervises execution of extended-duration contracted V-BAT missions, to include company-owned/company-operated, training in support of Direct Customer Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and follow-on Field Service Representative (FSR) support contracts. They execute service offerings globally and organize and supervise deployable flight teams to delight customers worldwide in the most challenging environments, domestically and internationally, to include maritime, hardship, and combat zone locations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
  • Senior management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects of diverse scope at once.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • USG or US military overseas deployed experience in a leadership role.
  • FMS contract execution experience.
  • Aviation leadership experience.
  • Maritime operational experience.
    $133,452 - $200,179 a year

Responsibilities:

  • Track key performance indicators and corporate objectives and key results for Deployed Operations and ensure mission success across all revenue-generating crew deployments.
  • Manage a team of Managers, Support Staff, Site Leads, and Air Vehicle Operators and ensure the personal and professional readiness of their crews.
  • Build strong relationships with customers who purchase V-BAT operations and training to ensure they are delighted by Shield AI’s people and products.
  • Establish and foster an organizational culture that places our customers and team first, volunteers for the most challenging assignments, and pushes the boundaries of UAS operations and battlefield innovation.
  • Create annual operating plans, plan and execute a departmental budget, and manage an organizational cost pool.
  • Supervise company-owned, company-operated and/or buyer or government-owned, company-operated deployments globally.
  • Supervise DCS and FMS training event execution globally.
  • Supervise follow-on FSR support contract execution globally.
