Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr Manager of Payroll is responsible for leading the overall Payroll operations at Revance. Along with processing payroll, this role will provide direct leadership of the Payroll team including people leadership and coaching, system support, guidance on policy, data reporting, and processing support.
Reporting to: Executive Director, People Operations
Location/Territory: Hybrid in Nashville (3 of days required onsite)
Salary Range: $117,000 to $147,000

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree & 4 years of payroll experience

    OR

  • Bachelor’s degree & 6 years of payroll experience

    OR

  • Associate’s degree & 9 years of payroll experience

    OR

  • High school diploma / GED & 10 years of payroll experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
  • Experienced in working with ADP Workforce Now
  • Global payroll experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day oversight and strategic leadership to the Payroll team
  • Responsible for accurate and timely collection, preparation, and processing of full cycle payroll within ADP Workforce Now and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain hands-on approach in administering payroll and remain current in payroll procedures.
  • Perform payroll data quality assurance reviews and approval prior to payment processing.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities, define vision and lead team through process improvements, using benchmarking, employee needs and vendor analysis.
  • Design standard operating procedures and processes through adoption of industry best practice standards that comply with federal and state regulations
  • Partner across HR and all internal stakeholders to ensure the core compensation cycle, benefits administration, stock processing and employee tax related activities are delivered accurately
  • Maintain SOX documentation and ensure compliance; participate and respond to audit requests timely
  • Partner with Finance team to support period-end reporting activities
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders including employees, Human Resources, Finance and IT on payroll service delivery.
