What You’ll Be Doing
Working as part of the Enterprise Physical Security team within Corporate Security, this position will support the delivery of its overall mandate by overseeing the physical security risk assessment framework and overall program. The Sr. Manager, Physical Security Risk is responsible for leading and executing all risk assessment related activities, provide specialized consultation, advice and support; including supporting the development and ongoing updates of CIBC’s Physical Security Policies, Standards and Guidelines to ensure known risks are sufficiently mitigated in line with CIBC’s risk appetite and evolving threat landscape.
You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. This role involves travelling across the globe (40-50%)
How You’ll Succeed
- Relationship Building/Management: Key relationship manager and collaborative consultant with business partners for all matters relating to Physical Security Risk Assessments and Consultations.
- Risk Assessment/Remediation: Work closely with the LOB partners to proactively identify physical security risks, determine materiality and assess likelihood. Propose recommendations to mitigate risk exposures. Lead the physical security risk remediation and risk acceptance program in alignment with CIBC’s physical security risk assessment framework.
- Risk Consulting: Provide expert physical security consultation, due-diligence or advice to LOB partners taking an all-hazards risk approach.
- Domain Expertise – You can demonstrate 3-5 years of experience in, the management and implementation of a wide range of physical security programs in large multifaceted organization with a global presence.
