Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Provide direction and leadership across people, processes, and technology, ensuring that engineering practices align with BECU’s strategic objectives.
- Develop Talent: Recruit, mentor, and develop talented engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth throughout the organization.
- Champion Engineering Excellence: Drive the implementation of Agile, Lean, and DevOps practices to ensure the delivery of modern, sustainable, and secure technology solutions.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Establish and manage metrics and processes for regular assessment and continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
- Act as a Change Agent: Lead the adoption of best technology practices across the IT organization, promoting efficiency and innovation.
- Maintain Team Alignment: Keep a pulse on the engineering department to ensure team satisfaction, continuous growth, and alignment with BECU’s goals.
- Foster Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement feedback mechanisms that provide valuable insights for ongoing service quality enhancements.
- Stay Informed and Adapt: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that BECU remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
