As Senior Manager, Strategic Project Management, you will be primarily responsible for Project Managing our iconic Insiders Program for Loblaw’s Private Label Product Team. You will be responsible for the successful execution of the program for the product team. Utilizing your EQ and influencing skills, you will work very collaboratively with our own Product Manager, Marketing, Loblaw Agency, and key members of the Loblaw Brand’s enablement team (including the Product Managers for Insiders linked to Enterprise). Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and attention to detail skills are critical for success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration or relevant field; professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing large-scale projects within complex organizational structures preferably in an advertising/marketing environment. Solid knowledge of retail operations essential.

SKILLS:

  • Proven ability in end-to-end project management methodologies, including budgeting, resource allocation & risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills along with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: able to work collaboratively cross-functional teams & effectively manage (and influence) multiple stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability handle pressure situations while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills; strong presentation abilities required
  • Proficiency: Advanced proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PM tools/software (e.g. MS Projects).

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Project Manager for the Insiders Program, you will have a vital role in curating and managing this high-profile marketing campaign. You will be responsible for classifying items into appropriate coverage categories, acting as a key liaison between the Insider’s Program Enterprise Project Management team and Loblaw Brands Product Team. You will also have the opportunity to support annual planning for the Product Team as well as a number of other strategic initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead project management activities related to the Insiders Program from initiation through completion as it pertains to the Product Team.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management teams within Loblaw Brands division.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between our internal stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining timelines/schedules, resource allocation requirements, numbers.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with relevant stakeholders to provide updates on project status.
  • Manage risks/issues that may arise during project lifecycle; identify mitigation strategies or escalations where necessary.
  • Support monitoring program performance metrics against key success indicators; and support reporting of findings regularly.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Provide guidance/support/mentoring to junior members within the team when necessary.
