The pay range is $111,200.00 - $200,200.00

As a Senior Manager in Target Tech, leading Tech Portfolio Management, you and your team will enable efficient and smooth operations of Target Tech. The Portfolio Management team is designed to serve the needs of Target tech teams across the organization. The primary activities include:
-

Data analysis and insights on key operational metrics for Target tech, in support of our annual goals.

  • Building tools for teams to manage their operations and helping to identify action items to achieve greater success.
  • Leading special projects in support of tech leader and sponsor goals.
  • Supporting Target tech leaders with communication activities within their organization including team huddles and engagement moments, newsletters, team recognition and other communications needed as identified by the leaders.

  • Participate in IT strategy development and mobilize teams across tech towards this strategy
  • Participate in the annual planning process for technology and business activities.
  • Support tech leaders with financial management activities – monitoring forecast to goal, scenario planning for future spend and ensuring accurate management of budgets.
  • Create tools and analyze trends across key operational metrics: reliability, security, tech health, efficiency and financials.
  • Support tech leaders on community building, engagement and communication across their teams and supporting team member connection toward their work, team and Target.
  • Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across Target Tech.
  • Ability to communicate with, influence and navigate multiple stakeholders and leaders at varying levels across Product Engineering, Data Science and Tech Enablement.
  • Develop healthy and trusted relationships with partner teams across HR, Accounting, Finance, Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Manage/Lead a high performing, global team including career development activities and performance management.
  • Measure and report progress against goals; participate in annual planning and financial management routines.
  • Stay current with industry knowledge and trends.
  • Encourage continuous learning within the team.

About you:

  • Understands basic retail functions and technology operations
  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve continuous improvements by introducing methods and processes, challenging current processes to drive business objectives
  • Knowledge and experience of Product and Agile methodologies
  • Stays current with new and evolving technology trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Process, project, or delivery management experience including stakeholder management

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
