Join our team as Sr. Manager, Warehouse and Logistics and take on the exciting responsibility of overseeing the safe and efficient daily operations of our warehouses in Brampton and London! This dynamic role is accountable for all inbound and outbound products and materials, inventory accuracy, and the exciting task of designing and improving systems and processes across all facilities.
This position is primarily based out of our Brampton facility, with travel as needed to our London facility, therefore, candidates must be able to travel between the two sites as required.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
- Lead the operations at the Brampton and London warehouses, ensuring seamless receipt, storage, management, and outgoing shipment of raw materials and finished products.
- Responsible for ensuring Inventory Record Accuracy, inclusive of all products and materials that come in and out of the facility.
- Provide recommendations for purchasing moving equipment and plan the layout of the warehouse and determine space requirements to prevent loss or damage and achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics for shipping and receiving to implement and improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, shipment cost and status, product traceability, and accuracy.
Logistics Management
- Manage relationships and negotiate with logistics providers for shipments to customers in Canada and internationally.
- Monitor and evaluate current logistics practices, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to further analyze freight costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings, while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Team Leadership & Development
- Motivate, coach, and inspire team members to perform at their highest level.
- Work with team members on Quality and Health & Safety related matters, and ensure all applicable policies & procedures are followed.
