EDUCATION:

High school diploma

EXPERIENCE:

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the related field.
• Preferred: Experience in a health-related field, distribution, warehouse or supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jack, forklift, bandsaw, etc.
• Experience with IATA and DOT.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Work independently and able to set priorities.
• Strong ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.
• Proficient time management and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot facility equipment issues and provide suggestions/solutions for implementation.
• Operate PC applications and systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and specific inventory management systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Lead preparation of international shipping documentation.
• Repository maintenance and housekeeping.
• Required to be trained on IATA and DOT standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT/BACKGROUND:

• Work in a warehouse setting, cold environment with exposure to dry ice, hazardous and infectious agents.
• Must use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and push up to 70 lbs.
• Periodically work in walk-in freezers and refrigerators for up to 5 hours per day.
• Ability to pass NIH background check.
• Participate in an on-call program as scheduled.
• Ability to inspect and receive clinical drug shipments.
• Required to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm core hours. Additional hours as needed.
