POSITION SUMMARY
Become a Sr. Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician in Carlsbad. Work with a hard-working team to maintain and improve our automated production equipment. Collaborate with machine owners and operators to achieve our goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of relevant experience or an Associate’s Degree in a related field
- Proficiency in electrical, electronics, and controls technologies
- Experience with automated production equipment
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of industrial automation
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Demonstrated working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems and industrial automation
- Knowledge of practices and techniques in general construction, repair and maintenance in a commercial environment
- Experience with equipment design, specifications, fabrication, installation, and validation
- Strong mechanical skills including the ability to perform mechanical disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of complicated equipment
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Identify and accurately address unsafe conditions related to mechanical safety, electrical safety, shielding, and guarding
- Complete safety review checklists for new and modified equipment
- Adhere strictly to site safety procedures, including lock-out-tag-out
