(Sr.) MOBILE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY VALIDATION ENGINEER (IT) (M/F/D)

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring ultra-reliability and high data rates is achieved for our connectivity solution in Europe
• Ensuring reliability and compliancy of eCall / NGeCall functionalities in Europe
• Designing & executing the test strategy (scope, methodology, test case specification, tools, reports & contingency plan)
• Defining requirements for the test environment (close collaboration with test equipment provider/automation engineer)
• Collaboration with external solution vendor to integrate and validate a seamless eSIM capability
• Collaboration with network operations team to ensure superb quality of service without compromising other use cases
• Support development team to reproduce bugs and verify bug fixes in alignment with carline schedule SW release plan
• Monitoring the evolution and deployment of mobile network technologies in each EU country
• Challenging the technical content under the aspects of performance and competitiveness. Identify and propose improvement opportunities acc. to EU taste and support their implementation

Who we are looking for

• Master’s degree in the areas of Computer Science/Engineering, Telecommunication, or related fields
• Excellent understanding of LTE, 5G NR, eUICC and 3GPP standards
• Experience within automotive working on connectivity and/or telematics solutions
• Working knowledge with cellular DUT (Device Under Testing) procedures
• Good understanding of networking concepts (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Familiarity with QXDM/ROMES diagnostics tool
• Familiarity with private 5G networks is a strong plus
• ISTQB Foundation Tester Certification, Advanced Tester Certification is a plus
• Good planning and organizing skills; Good command in English
• Flexible and highly motivated to work in an international environment
• Readiness to travel or driving test with valid European driving license B
• Close collaboration with our R&D headquarter in Korea and respective development partners
