WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT: (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
  • Minimum 8+ years as a Software Engineer in a corporate setting
  • Large scale experience in software development, scripting, and project management
  • Comprehensive knowledge developing SuiteScript (1.0, 2.x) and JavaScript
  • Thorough knowledge with RESTful APIs
  • Experience as a Senior or Lead developer on a specialized software engineering team
  • Experience developing on common enterprise ERP & CRM platforms, including NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow, MuleSoft, or related systems
  • Experience developing in Apex, Visualforce, MuleSoft, Java, and/or similar languages preferred
  • Positive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Proven track record working collaboratively with project stakeholders and cross functional teams
  • Agile Scrum methodology experience
  • SuiteCloud Developer Certification a plus

Responsibilities:

What you do daily:

  • Collaborate with a 100% remote North American team
  • Lead major software customization and integration projects for our internal corporate systems
  • Design and build enhancements to support business needs while ensuring system integrity, security, scale, and performance
  • Guide, support, and mentor fellow software engineers within your organization to optimize their efficiency, promote best practices, and encourage adherence to the requirements
  • Applying agile methodologies in an ever-changing environment to facilitate continuous improvement, empowerment, and collaboration of the team
  • Assist in code reviews for more junior engineers
  • Participate in meetings and voicing concerns as well as suggestions for improvement
  • Work with management to implement team processes and tools, and to make significant team and company decisions
  • Research and analyze application behaviors and improve performance and stability
  • Ensure software lifecycle considerations are considered through planning sessions, design/architecture meetings, code review, documentation review, and code maintenance planning
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation for your code, customizations, processes, and procedures
  • This role will be mostly development, with some bug and break/fix support required for major escalated event
