Description:
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Finance
Minimum 3 to 5 years of high volume and complex automotive product and commodities pricing expertise
Experience in Sales Controlling and / or Pricing Controlling or Product Management is wanted
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Advanced EXCEL Skills
Must be able to write quick scripts to support data analytics
Able to write and use macros
SAP knowledge and experience is a plus
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent organizational and follow up skills
Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward
Ability to initiate and complete projects on your own
Must have strong time management skills
Able to effectively interface with other disciplines in the organization to achieve result
Ability to multi-task multiple projects and supports multiple managers
Knowledge of Syncron pricing software or similar pricing software preferred
Knowledge of SalesForce a Plus
Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office; PowerPoin
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE
This position reports to Senior Pricing Manager EU and a key member of the European pricing team for all pricing
activity within the EU AFM. The Sr. Pricing Analyst position will work with Product Planning & sales to development
and implement service parts pricing strategy and policies that will help differentiate Driveline Brands as Spicer and
Gaskets brands as Victor Reinz in the Light, Heavy and Off-Highway markets helping to drive sales and EBIT
growth.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish, maintain and adjust the pricing logic rules within pricing software and amend to requested or
upcoming deviations
Establish & maintain all service prices per the strategic direction and transfer into price lists per customer,
markets or areas.
Manage special quoting activity and support new business proforma analysis
o Track special Quotes and assure proper loading into ERP systems
Develop & Conduct pricing and margin analysis and initiate cost down measurements
Develop & Conduct monthly divisional sales performance reports showing the price and market price
sensitivity and report gaps and opportunities for pricing and additional sales
Maintaining Active/Inactive Customers and identify Customers Segmentation to Align with Pricing Software
setup
Managing Pricing Software Application
o Maintain data integrity
o New Part Number and pricing set-up
o Production of Monthly Price Master Addition & Change report
Implementation of pricing adjustments
o Collaborates closely with Product Planning Team to translate strategy into Pricing Software
o Collaborates closely with sales to translate market pricing requests into a proper impact analysis and
prepare for approval process
o Creation of simulation and related impacts
Data Management
o Creation of customer price lists & sales impacts as required or requested by account managers
o Review of customer’s contracts for pricing, terms & conditions & expiration dates
o Maintaining and updating Pricing and ERP systems for Customer Information
Provide back up support to the other Product Group’s Sales Support Analysts as required.
Develop Audit / Compliance reports
Performs all other duties as assigned
