We’ve been in the technology game for over 20 years, but the need for custom software and finely tuned experiences only continues to grow.
Our clients range from scrappy startups looking to disrupt the market with a new product, to multinational corporations looking to modernize their tools or even help create the future of tech with cutting edge software, apps, and other innovative solutions and experiences. At Kahoa we like to push the limits of what is possible while also delivering products that people will use and enjoy.

• Work on a variety of teams ranging from independent to company-wide product groups, and in diverse contexts, including in house at Kahoa or on site with clients.
• Gather requirements and data when needed, understand business and user needs, and provide solutions in the form of elegant and intentional design artifacts ranging from sketches to wireframes to high-fidelity user interfaces and/or design systems.
• Help run design sprints with groups of 5-7 people, either internally or with clients.
• Write user-focused tests and administer them to then follow up with creating the necessary artifacts to match the desired outcomes.
• Analyze and present findings from tests to clients and other key stakeholders in a clear, actionable, and helpful way.
• Explain your design decisions in an informed manner rather than relying on personal taste to create effective solutions within client constraints.
• Collaborate effectively with other product designers, frontend developers, backend engineers, product owners, project managers, executive teams, and client customers.
• Work efficiently and be able to accurately estimate and communicate your design efforts.
• Constantly learn and improve your skill set while staying up-to-date with trends and industry standards in your craft.
• Communicate professionally and transparently.
• Finish what you start.
