EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree required, preferably in a life science discipline.
- Advanced degree preferred in Life Sciences and/or business field.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 to 8 years of demonstrated success in a product management, strategic consulting, marketing, project management, life science commercial, or research and development roles.
- Experience in life science product or services commercialization process, nucleic acid delivery for vaccine and therapeutics, lipid nanoparticle (LNP) technologies, or drug development to commercialization is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Solid understanding of business operations, ability to analyze data, effective written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.
- Creative, passionate, curious, and skilled at leading without formal authority.
- Ability to work within a matrix, cross functional environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and globally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve business strategies to drive growth and expansion of the portfolio.
- Lead and work on projects with other functional teams across the organization, including finance, marketing, research and development, commercial, strategy, business development, operations, and legal.
- Lead special projects that involve crafting business plans, assessing market trends, capturing customer feedback, analyzing financial data, and improving operational processes.
- Drive successful product, service, and digital solution launches by collaborating closely with cross-functional and cross-business teams.
- Initiate operational improvement activities working with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, R&D, and Finance, providing business insights on operation prioritization and efficiency.
- Research and develop new market applications and digital tools to improve the customer journey, as well as constantly innovate towards portfolio expansion into emerging market segments.
- Proactively capture industry, market, competitor, supplier, and product intelligence related to the business segment’s interests within the Biotech, Biopharma, and Research markets.
- Build and implement operating mechanisms to improve business team efficiency.
- Collaborate with leaders from various departments within the business unit and across the company.
