Description:
The Sr. Product Owner will report to the Sr. Manager, Product Management in the Product Management Department. This role is responsible for executing the product vision and delivery of initiatives for our Individual Investor business line by using agile squads focused on the client experience. The squads will be empowered and accountable to deliver innovative product features to enhance client experience of the IRA Portal and create operational efficiencies. The incumbent will work closely with the Product Manager, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure product development aligns with business and technology outcomes. The ideal incumbent will be strategic, innovative, and creative with a solid analytic foundation.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience
- Background in financial services, or fintech strongly preferred along with an understanding of various technology solutions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
- Scrum Product Owner or Certified Product Manager credentials preferred
- Proven leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, and guide the creation of self-organizing teams.
- Strategic, innovative, and creative thinker with a solid analytic foundation
- Ability to be assertive with business priorities and address opposing viewpoints while adhering to Agile concepts and principles
- Working knowledge of Agile practices such as iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to connect and engage with the team, facilitate discussions, advocate for the team, negotiate with the business, mentor team members, and resolve conflicts
- Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal direction, and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules
- Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously and manage stressful situations
- Strong knowledge of technical concepts and architectural principles to drive scalable solutions

The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.

Compensation: $100,200 - $124,300 per year
