JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Benefits Administration experience including Health and Welfare plan, 401(k), leave of absence management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Experience with benefits administration systems
  • Experience with HCM systems. Workday experience preferred
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administering and promoting global health, well-being, retirement, and deferred compensation.
  • Contribute to the development of health, well-being and retirement program strategy and manage the implementation and communication of benefit programs for employees globally.
  • Manage annual US open enrollment project plan; prepare materials and reports as needed; participate in annual user acceptance testing.
  • Manage relationships with all health, well-being and retirement vendors: conduct regular service meetings, oversee operations, manage special projects and review vendor performance against Service Level Agreements.
  • Global benefits management: work with vendors and local teams to drive competitive benefits in different countries. Understand both statutory requirements as well as market competitiveness.
  • Responsible for education of employees on all benefit programs, including health, well-being, retirement, deferred compensation and employee stock purchase benefits.
  • Responsible for the ongoing administration of company well-being program, including oversight and facilitation of annual health fairs.
  • Participate in benefits due diligence efforts as needed for M&A activities
  • Responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of insurance file feeds, including health insurance, FSA, HSA, 401k & supplemental insurances.
  • Responsible for benefits compliance with provisions of governmental regulations including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA Reporting, 5500 filings, Summary Plan Documents, Non-Discrimination Testing; reviews and analyzes changes to state and federal laws pertaining to Benefits and reports necessary or suggested changes to management
  • Conduct regular benefit-related and payroll-related audits to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
  • Manage the benefits budget, monitor actual expense to plans and build partnerships within finance to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accruals.
