emagine is currently looking for a Sr. Project Leader for IAM with IBM Mainframe and/or access management experience for a client in the banking sector.

TASK:

The client is looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and oversee projects through their full lifecycle. This role requires a strong background in managing complex IT projects, preferably with a focus on Waterfall methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing project deadlines, ensuring objectives are met, and overseeing the planning, reporting, and execution to deliver successful outcomes within specified timelines and budgets.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive experience in IT project management, with senior-level expertise in overseeing medium to large-scale projects
  • Proven track record of using Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Strong organizational and deadline management skills, with the ability to maintain focus on project goals and timelines
  • Knowledge of IBM Mainframe or access management is an advantage but not required
    This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive project manager with strong leadership skills, who can adapt to dynamic project demands and drive successful results.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring all objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
  • Create, manage, and maintain project schedules, keeping the project on track and aligning with defined objectives
  • Oversee and lead all phases of project planning, reporting, and execution
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify and mitigate risks to prevent delays and ensure smooth project progression
