Description:

Experience and Role Accountabilities

  • A minimum six (6) years of software testing work experience or equivalent.
  • Design test scripts, and test cases by defining appropriate tests required and any associated test data, identifying target test items to be evaluated, and identifying the most appropriate implementation approach so that test activities are successfully completed.
  • Conduct planned testing by gathering and managing the test data, implementing individual tests, and identifying issues to achieve testing objectives.
  • Evaluate and document the outcome of each test cycle by verifying test execution, logging defects identified during the testing, and retesting if needed to support the Technology group’s defect management activities.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders by regularly communicating relevant information, participating in project status meetings, and delivering progress reports so that testing activities are executed as planned.
  • Collaborate with professionals across the organization such as business analysts, architects and developers, and integration groups to analyze testing issues.
  • Monitor and document relevant elements of test results such as statistics, metrics, trends, and status to contribute to continuously improve the testing process.
  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem analysis
  • Well-developed oral, written, interpersonal communication and analytical skills
  • Skilled at communicating and working with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to partner resources
  • Strong coordination, time management and planning skills
  • Able to think and act independently and work under pressure in a dynamic, technical complex environment
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, especially Excel), Visio, Access
  • Proficient with XRM, Filenet and Powersmart applications
