Description:

SUMMARY

Typically the first person onsite, you become the face of the organization during a time of need. Attending to these emergency situations you proactively limit damage and mitigate loss following IICRC protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous restorations experience an asset.
  • IICRC or equivalent certification in Water Damage Restoration preferred
  • Certification or experience in Abatement an asset
  • Valid driver’s license - a MUST
  • Bondable
  • Able to work on a on-call schedule
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Water Damage Restoration Technician Certificate: 1 year (preferred)
  • Restoration: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Use acceptable IICRC practices in all aspects of structural drying
  • Ability to assess and implement procedures that will expedite the drying process.
  • Working knowledge of mediation equipment operation and placement.
  • Manages onsite emergency response activities, including pumping water, clearing carpet, removing drywall, mitigation, etc.
  • Sets up deodorization, negative air, ozone, thermo-fogging and related equipment on site.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of temperature, humidity, and GPP readings.
  • Upload detailed water sheets from the site daily.
  • Completes and submits timesheets for all jobs.
  • Ensures all health and safety protocols are being implemented and followed.
  • Assists with content handling, pack out, and documentation following company procedures as required.
