Description:
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or similar field required. Minimum of 2 years of analyst experience preferred.
- A strategic problem solver with strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills, with experience in financial analysis, analytics, and scenario modeling.
- Ability to assimilate large data sets from various sources & perform fact-based analytics to drive business decisions.
- Proven ability to manage projects and initiate process improvement.
- Solid computer skills, with strong working knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel and related modeling tools, SAP, Salesforce, PowerBi, or similar analytics or pricing software.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization platform preferred, including maintaining security, developing measures, and maintaining reporting applications.
- Strong critical thinking skills and business acumen.
- Competencies: Collaboration, Accountability, Initiative, Analytics, and communication.
- Bilingual (French/English) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- As we move towards developing a standalone pricing structure in Canada, this role will collaborate with the US pricing team to identify a pricing software platform. This platform will enable our team to set prices based on Canadian-specific variables effectively.
- Work closely with the US pricing team and category management to streamline the annual pricing recommendation process, ensuring that pricing changes are implemented concurrently with the US.
- Project management including timelines, milestones for Year-End Pricing, coordinating meetings & conference calls & communicating to external stakeholders about the progress of Year-End Pricing.
- Co-own and maintain SAP pricing configuration with the other Canadian Revenue Analyst, and demonstrate the ability to understand what can and cannot be done within the current system configurations as well as identify and take action to move configurations from current state to desired state.
- Extensive data management including ad-hoc business requests, acquiring data from multiple data sources & assimilation of data to develop business conclusions.
- Develop analytical models with scenario analysis, visual capabilities, outlier analysis, etc.
- Develop innovative price measurement techniques including mix analysis, variance analysis & segmentation approach development of sales facing tools including price realization, variance analysis, scatter plots, scenario analysis tools.
- Through a dashboard/visualization, create standard, repeatable, and easy to understand metrics that are leveraged by the Sales function to drive sound business decisions.
- Establishing and maintaining competitive price comparables in Canada to ensure our pricing strategy remains competitive and responsive to market trends.

- Work with Marketing and Sales to monitor / develop grid pricing, market nets and SPAs.

- Work with marketing to develop, report on and analyze the impact of rebate programs to all levels of customers.
