Description:

EDUCATION

  • BS degree in Biology, Bioscience, Business or equivalent experience; advanced degree is considered advantageous.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales or marketing in laboratory equipment or life science industry.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a region or product line and an eye for business with analytical abilities to draw conclusions and observations from sales and market trends.
  • Shown success in forming interdepartmental relationships.
  • Proven excellence in oral and written communication skills, training, and public speaking experience, a requirement.
  • Regional travel is estimated to be 40% of the time, independently to customer sites, factories, trade shows, and meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales teams in North and Latin America to assist sales on significant and strategic opportunities as well as promotional initiatives with channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to highlight performance and gaps.
  • Liaise with customers, sales, and channels to gain a deep understanding of sales, competition, and market issues.
  • Make key customer visits on strategic opportunities and work to resolve customer concerns with product expertise and issue support.
  • Represent regional market/customer needs to product management in the development of new products and solutions.
  • Build and deliver product training for the sales team and channels and define regional needs for sales enablement tools by working closely with product management and marketing.
  • Craft sales and communication tools to increase efficiency.
  • Lead in regional tradeshows and sales meetings to facilitate growth objectives of the product line.
