What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test suites based on user requirements and software architecture.
  • Create and maintain automated test frameworks, ensuring thorough logging of results for traceability and accountability.
  • Provide technical solutions to moderately complex problems, applying creativity and practicality to align with organisational objectives.
  • Lead and oversee specific project tasks, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Act as a self-supervising leader within the discipline, offering guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contributing to their professional growth.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and driving their implementation to enhance our testing processes.
  • Liaise with numerous internal teams and external customers, representing the organisation in developing solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Ensure the soundness of technical judgement and the overall adequacy and accuracy of work, contributing to the success and efficiency of crucial programs and projects.

Who You Are and What You Bring:

  • A seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline; or 3-4 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Thorough understanding and broad application of technical standards, principles, theories, and techniques in software testin
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical solutions to a moderate range of challenging problems, with a creative and practical approach.
  • Proven leadership skills with minimal supervision, capable of leading small teams and mentoring entry-level employees.
  • Strong experience in designing test suites based on user requirements and software architecture.
  • Expertise in designing automated test frameworks and ensuring comprehensive result logging for traceability.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks, ensuring the completion of specific programs and projects with minimal errors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent the organisation in complex technical discussions and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
