JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly technical and business development Senior Solution Manager (IoT and EDGE) with proven successful records in the either of IoT, AI at the EDGE industries. The ideal candidate would be able to understand the need of the customers and provide a well-thought-out solution to meet the customer’s specifications and deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities include understanding the market trend for solution needs, serving as the escalation point for the global service team, managing roadmaps, and working with internal teams and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s (or above) degree preferably in Computer Engineering or equivalent experiences.
  • 8 years + experience in IT industry/IOT/ Telco solution is preferred.
  • Understanding of evolution to EDGE, AI and IoT with move to Smart Infrastructure(Retail, Industry 4.0, Smart Cities, Smart healthcare, smart agriculture,…) market, requirements, and technologies.
  • Knowledgeable with server system architecture, chassis, x86 architecture, hardware and applications.
  • Experienced and understanding end-to-end solutions (IoT /EDGE).
  • Experienced in IoT Applications, AI is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  • Proven business development in IOT (Internet of Thing) and Edge.
  • Solid English communication skills in both verbal and written, able to communicate with high level (preferably C-level executive) clients effectively.
  • Local Language at proficient level.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe/Global as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus primarily on Business Development and presale, propose, identify and qualifying projects.
  • Build partnerships with Software vendors on various Verticals
  • Participate to Trade show and exhibition to find new leads, partners and increase Supermicro awareness in the market
  • Present training material to internal sales force as well as externally at customer sites.
  • Work with sales, FAE and product team to propose, EDGE computing, AI & IoT solution to influence and win accounts.
  • Communicate with eco partners to align the solution offering.
  • Strong project management skills and work cross-functionally with product management and field teams.
  • Build and maintain a network of business relationships, including the executive management of clients, prospects, and other referral resources.
