PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Understanding of Enterprise and SaaS software sales processes and business models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and minimum 3+ years of relevant works experience in a solution selling / value based selling environment.
  • Excellent business savvy as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and in at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
  • Ability to deliver deep technical presentations and demonstrate how solution meets client needs.
  • JavaScript, HTML 5 and development skills.

Responsibilities:

Your First Six to Nine Months:

  • Learn selected ECS solution offerings and the value our solutions have for our customers.
  • Become thoroughly knowledgeable about our customer base within the ECS business unit.
  • Learn the sales processes and partner strategy for the ECS business unit.
  • Shadow Solution Consultant presentations and demonstrations of other field presales Solution Consultants for the ECS solutions.
  • Participate in responding to incoming RFI/RFP/RFQs.
  • Begin to conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for our customers and partners.
  • Support sales teams in customer meetings, partner meetings and with account planning activities.
  • Support marketing teams in pipeline generating activities.
  • Research and identify competition in our market segments.

Six to Twelve Months and Beyond:

  • All of the above, plus;
  • Taking the lead for the solution and technical elements of our pursuits.
  • Being available throughout the sales cycle to provide ongoing technical insight and product information as required to achieve the technical win.
  • Assisting sales colleagues in assessing potential application of ECS solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Leading technical discovery sessions, presentations & product demonstrations.
  • Develop solution presentations when needed/as directed designed for specific customer(s) including architecture presentations, functional presentations, etc.
  • Develop and deliver Proof of Concepts against specific customer requirements, where needed.
  • Maintain ongoing technical product knowledge of ECS products and solution by keeping up to date on company literature, competition and market trends via attendance/participation in-house training, enablement and virtual communities of practice.
  • Assisting with solution training of new sales personnel, pre-sales colleagues and partner staff.
