The Senior Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist works to proactively identify senior level candidates through sophisticated sourcing techniques. Primary responsibility will include sourcing for critical business roles and leadership roles, as well as developing proactive recruitment marketing activities to build candidate pipelines. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with TA processes including documentation retention and providing data analytics when required.
What will you be doing?

Sourcing:

  • Sources qualified candidates through a variety of channels including direct sourcing, LinkedIn, Job boards, referrals, networking, social media, databases, etc. Delivers exceptional candidate slates by using well proven, passive candidate recruiting methodologies
  • Develops innovative attraction strategies including identification of new sourcing channels
  • Share best practices, industry and market intelligence data to support the TA team.

Outreach:

  • Uses sophisticated searching techniques, which include Boolean Search, LinkedIn Talent Insight, etc.
  • Supports sourcing activity through scheduling recruiting events such as career fairs, college/university recruitment events, etc.
  • Leverages our Smith & Nephew Culture pillars and our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to engage leads and convert them into applicants

Collaboration:

  • Works closely with TA Specialists to ensure a clear understanding of skillsets, requirements and experience needed for identified roles and forecasted demand required for pipelining efforts
  • Collaborates with TA team members to gain greater understanding about the organizations we support

Compliance:

  • Ensures strict adherence with TA processes to ensure compliance with compliance requirements. Ensure required documentation is maintained and assists with audit process as required

Systems & Processes:

  • Provides applicant tracking and reporting as needed; conduct data analytics when required
  • Enter data into Applicant Tracking System(s) to ensure accurate and consistent tracking of candidates from the research to telephone screen stage of the recruitment process.

What will you need to be successful?
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Fluent in English (C1)
  • 4+ years of experience as a sourcing specialist or a combination of recruiter and sourcing specialist
  • Proven experience souring and recruiting for professional and niche positions, including senior roles
  • Medical or regulated industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading sourcing strategies, projects, and/or talent acquisition initiatives
  • Ability to understand and apply AI-powered sourcing platforms to identify and engage potential candidates is a plus.
  • Ability to handle a diverse scope of recruitment needs in a fast-paced environment, with strong adaptability and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience using an ATS (preferably Workday)
  • Experience using a Recruitment CRM, preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience working in collaborative team environments with a high sense of urgency.
