Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Sales and Business Development, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic B2B Corporate Sales team.

Travel Agencies Sales and Business Development (B2B2C):

  • Identify and target travel agencies, and other potential partners globally to promote our rail travel services. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share including sales presentation and training. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the travel industry.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for travel agencies. Understand client needs and tailor our offerings to meet their requirements. Provide excellent customer service to maintain and enhance client relationships.

Corporations Sales and Business Development (B2B):

  • Identify and target corporations and their procurement and travel departments to promote rail travel services for their employees. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share including sales presentation and training. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the travel industry.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for corporations. Understand client needs and tailor our offerings to meet their requirements. Provide excellent customer service to maintain and enhance client relationships.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data to create accurate sales forecasts and reports. Provide updates to team management on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.

Market Analysis and Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in leisure travel.

Leverage Client Relationship Management tools:

  • Leverage digital CRM tool, like Salesforce, to maintain relationships effectively and efficiently with client base.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as revenue management, network planning, marketing, and product and service design to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
  • Communicate client feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders.

Travel and Events:

  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and explore new business opportunities. Domestic and International travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Requirements :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with travel operators and agencies worldwide, promoting our leisure travel offering. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the leisure travel market, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales within the travel industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leisure travel sales, preferably in the rail transportation industry.
  • Strong network and existing relationships within the travel operator and agency space.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed. (20% of time)
