The Product Analyst plays a crucial role in the organisation by collecting, analysing, and interpreting product and user behaviour data to provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. This position involves working with large datasets, using various analytical tools and techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business challenges and opportunities.
This role will be responsible for utilising expertise in data analytics, SQL, and advanced analytics, possibly including AI/ML, to enable data-driven decision-making and ensure that data becomes a strategic asset for the product organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product impact by proposing and conducting quantitative research into key user behaviours and business trends, in partnership with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders
- Building automated data processes to power real-time dashboards, and building self-service reporting tools to enable others to leverage the data.
- Creating analytical frameworks to enable efficient product experimentation, and working closely with engineers on instrumentation to ensure thorough capture of product data.
- In partnership with or support product managers to define metrics for measuring product success, and creating the tools to effectively track and troubleshoot said metrics.
- Thought leadership that promotes a data driven culture within the product organization. Consulting with Product Managers that need to improve their data skill sets
- Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify product gaps, evangelising data insights to key stakeholders and defining our product roadmap.
