As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at Honeywell Intelligrated, reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing in the US, you will support both Sourcing and Procurement functions across Europe and the Middle East. On the Sourcing side, you will be responsible for category strategy, execution, and results to optimize total cost of ownership across all Intelligrated projects. On the procurement side, you will be responsible for placing the purchase orders for both Installation services and Buyouts (Hardware) suppliers in alignment with global supplier strategies and the Project schedule.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years experience in a purchasing environment and 4 years of Sourcing Experience.
- Ability to work later in the day and into the evening as needed to support US working hours.
- BS/BA Degree or advanced degree in engineering, supply chain or related field
- In-depth experience in best-in-class procurement practices (i.e., category management, spend analysis, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, negotiating/contracting, economic/market trends, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of basic commercial agreement structures, statements of work, function and purpose of key legal terms.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools. Oracle and Classix knowledge a plus.
- Strong negotiator with proven experience in setting strategies and achieving favorable terms; ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects (i.e., project management) requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency of English and German both written and spoken.
- Experience in conveyor systems a plus.
- Ability to travel in region: 10%
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust commercial strategies for the European installation services and Conveyor related systems suppliers with consideration to quality, cost, speed, service requirements, market conditions, risks/exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon. Expertise in tracking/monitoring global industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities, and overall supply chain flow.
- Experience in Services, Mechanical and Electrical parts.
- Partner with multiple teams across different regions and cross-functional stakeholders (i.e., Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Tax, etc.) to ensure alignment and support of category strategy and project execution.
- Consolidate fragmented global spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution in order to bring greater value to Honeywell.
- Execute the annual operating plan (AOP) through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
- Lead competitive bid (RFP), negotiate, and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies while maximizing benefit (i.e., total cost of ownership) to Honeywell.
- Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply base supporting new product/solution introductions.
- Learn, understand, and comply with company business policies and procedures, Export/Import regulations.
- Revisit agreed terms with existing suppliers to improve productivity and working capital.
- Support New Product Introduction projects as needed
- Complete Sales Order Buying and driving supplier performance to required items in each purchase
- Complete Contract Approval Summaries, Executive Summaries, and Pay Terms Exception Forms as required by Honeywell policy
