JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR MANAGER, SUPPLY PLANNING

Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Supply Planning is responsible for making strategic decisions on supply plans, communicating these to collaborators, and resolving regional supply shortages. This role coordinates the supply portion of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process! , Contributes to special projects, and business strategy initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Planning, this leader consolidates inputs from multiple planners to ensure a cohesive approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required
  • 7 years of leadership experience in a relevant role.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Planning Systems (Logility, Kinaxis, etc.) and ERP systems (SAP, JDE, etc.).
  • Strong relationship-building skills across various departments.
  • Deep knowledge of supply planning, new product introduction, material planning, and SIOP processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix and cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to build supply plans, implement process changes, and handle projects.
  • Lead a team of planners to develop replenishment schedules and optimize inventory levels.
  • Balance service levels, efficiency, and financial goals for perfect operations.
  • Engage in forecasting and supplier collaboration to settle capacity planning and set operational objectives.
  • Mentor and motivate the team for outstanding performance and success.
  • Facilitate monthly supply planning meetings to address and resolve gaps.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management, demand planning, and finance to address capacity constraints and recommend expansions.
  • Support supply chain projects aimed at improving customer experience and delivery.
  • Develop inventory management strategies to minimize E&O risk and drive back-order reduction efforts.
  • Improve supply chain strategies and practices to ensure premier standards.
  • Run annual Performance Management and Development (PMD) or equivalent experience and Human Resource Review (HRR) processes.
