JOB SUMMARY:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr Systems Analyst to join our Global Operations IT team in Frederick, MD. As a member of this team, you will play a key role in supporting the Distribution & Logistics business functions and associated systems, including providing Level 2 support for Manhattan WMOS 2010, 2018. In addition, you will also have a chance to engage in initiatives involving Logistics Control Tower, Machine Automation, and Robotic Process Automation. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minumum 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or technical developer experience on Manhattan WMOS (2010 and 2018).
- 2-3 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures/trigger development.
- 2-3 years of experience with technologies and processing environments used to support the Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) process, such as Warehouse Mgmt, Transportation Mgmt, and Order Mgmt systems; experience with QAD Precision/Trax is also preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience working with Integration technologies and systems, such as XML, webMethods, or Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM).
- 1-2 years of experience with reporting tools, such as IBM Cognos.
- 1-2 years of experience working with and supporting machine automation systems, such as conveyors, print and apply applicators, in-line weigh scales, and case sealers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to also work autonomously.

- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed solutions.
