EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an Enterprise environment required.
  • Licensure/Certification: MSCE and VCAP/VCDX preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server based environments.
  • Solid experience with server and storage virtualization (e.g. VMware, VSAN). Must have experience with monitoring systems, solid scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell), and strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP).
  • Must stay current with technologies, be able to work both independently and as a team member to complete assigned tasks, meet deadlines, respond to multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with peers.
  • Must have strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads planning, designing, and maintenance of the organization’s systems infrastructure, both on premise and cloud-based.
  • Diagnose problems and implements recommendations for improvement on existing and new systems while ensuring systems meet business requirements.
  • Provides Level 3 end user support, including working with vendors to resolve issues.
  • Develops and maintains disaster recovery planning, business continuity planning & execution, and incident response planning.
  • Oversees security and forensics of server and storage systems.
  • Designs, installs, maintains, configures, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Responsible for management of assigned projects.
  • Maintains strategic vendor relationships.
