WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in talent acquisition space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field, or the equivalent in practical experience.
  • Proven track record of recruiting for various roles (multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines).
  • Familiarity with the industry and ability to use data analytics to measure recruiting success.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to find and hire talent, promote jobs and strengthen employer brand.
  • Experience with talent management software (UKG is illumin’s HRIS).
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for roles within illumin, including initial assessments and interviews, and presentation of candidates for hiring manager review.
  • Communicate with interview panels to ensure preparedness during the interview process, for example, competency questions for interview consistency and quality.
  • Work closely with business leaders to influence effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop talent acquisition practices, processes and systems.
  • Ensure market benchmarks and internal bands are understood and managed within.
  • Use recruitment and applicant tracking software to evaluate candidates from selection to onboarding.
  • Draft and utilize templates for TA communications, such as application received messages, knockout notices, interview requests, rejection emails, and offer letters.
  • Assist with internal hiring efforts, which includes assessing existing employees against role requirements, ensuring necessary approvals and paperwork.
  • Engage with active and passive talent and connect them to current job opportunities.
  • Organize and attend career fairs to source suitable candidates.
  • Ensure continuous tracking through various reports and dashboards, looking at metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, cost per hire, etc.
  • Enhance and own the candidate experience for the interview process, building a mechanism to capture candidate feedback in a timely manner.
  • Conduct technical, functional, and behavioral trainings required for performance and career development.
  • Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices.
  • Partner and coordinate with external agencies for complex or hard to fill roles.
  • Demonstrate understanding of illumin’s business context, org composition, competencies, deliverables, and stakeholders.
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies, including job posting optimization, physical and digital employment marketing, job board procurement, and talent planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, human resources and business leaders to enhance employer brand identity.
  • Manage illumin’s profiles on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and other talent-related websites.
  • Develop strategies to improve the shortlist ratio, acceptance to joining ratio, adherence to process timelines and optimization of talent acquisition budget.
  • Oversee the completion of various talent acquisition projects and initiatives, such as talent branding, recruitment software implementation, campus placements, expansion to new geographies, industry mapping, data analytics etc.
