The Talent & Development team at Kraken is dedicated to fueling a vibrant culture, fostering talent, enhancing performance, and developing critical skills to support the growth of our business. We strive to empower every Krakenite to reach their full potential and contribute to our collective success.
The opportunity
Craft and implement Kraken-wide career pathing strategies, integrating key performance indicators and success factors into our evaluation system
Spearhead an internal mobility program, featuring an internal career profile system and possible short-term gigs program to offer project-based opportunities for applying skills and furthering career development
Pinpoint skill gaps using our competency model and partner with the development team to devise effective strategies
Collaboration is key in this role–you will ensure alignment is in place across the business before any program deployment
Possibly work closely with the broader team on performance reviews, talent assessments, and employee engagement surveys, using data analysis to ensure effectiveness and compliance, if needed
Lead enablement sessions and workshops, promoting a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Consult with HR Business Partners, Kraken leadership, and key stakeholders on all assigned programs, ensuring alignment and integration
Develop program assets, including communication plans, demos, virtual workshops, job aids, and program wiki pages
Utilize learning technology to create structures that address skill gaps and enhance talent programs, including LMS and eLearning content
Manage key administrative tasks using Talent Management and Career Development systems and technologies
Skills You Should HODL
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Business Management, or a related field
At least five years of experience in talent management; specifically in developing career pathways; and career development, ideally in a remote, global environment
Exceptional project and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with and influencing leaders and stakeholders at various levels
Proficiency in using talent management systems, LMS, and HRIS technologies
Creative problem-solving skills, with a continuous drive for improvement and innovation
Ability to work across different time zones and create/facilitate remote or recorded training enablement products and sessions as needed
