Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for driving sales and enhancing performance. As a Senior Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supervising daily operations, and managing staff. This position requires excellent organizational abilities and effective communication skills to foster a positive work environment and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities The daily functions of this responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all safety; quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded. The standards are tracked against departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Build a system and culture of continuous improvement
  • Act as the departmental 5"S” Champion
  • Maintain an environment of engagement where associates feel they contribute and are a valued part of the team.
  • Conduct accident / incident investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Initiate appropriate disciplinary action for employees under their direction as required.
  • Monitor daily inspection reports to ensure equipment is in proper working order
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment.
  • Develop and execute improved material conveyance methods
  • Conduct all business activity in a professional matter
  • Deal with customer delivery issues and help manage the third-party logistics provider
  • Responsible for assuring all shifts and functions are properly staffed to execute varied work volume.
  • Other duties as required to ensure that business needs are met

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Experience leading and implementing large-scale projects is an asset
  • Ability to deal with the pressures of meeting deadlines, maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor and drive a team to reach targets.
  • Ability to complete extra supervisory training as required, including Basic Supervisory Skills, the Occupational Health & Safety Act and basic First Aid.
  • Having previously completed training a definite advantage.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
