  As a technical program manager within the infrastructure operations engineering team you will be responsible for leading the operational readiness and launch for new regions and new clusters in a highly cross-functional environment which includes internal customers, external vendors and technology partners, as a part of the role you will be acting as a hiring manager to support onboarding the team who will be joining the new region, you will be responsible for tracking and giving a continuous update on the launch readiness pillars such as operational contracts and procurement, finance, hiring, energy, HR policies, design review, safety, logistics, networking, DC Engineering Operations (DCEO), DC Operations (DCO), Infrastructure Delivery (ID) and training plan for the team, This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. You’ll have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you’ll be constantly looking for ways to improve your product’s performance, quality and cost. Using data and key metrics, you will also
  drive and measure process improvements that enhance our operational effectiveness. You will work independently in a dynamic, challenging, and fast-changing organization. We’re changing an industry, and we need individuals who are ready for this challenge and who want to reach beyond what is possible today. As a TPM you will be supporting the Operations Readiness Review (ORR) program, and responsible to setting the audit plan and process for new regions and on-boarding functional checklist and reviewers prior to the Public Launch, assess the operations readiness and compliance with AWS Data Center (DC) standards and best practices. The review of the readiness covers the new region playbooks, facilities standards, operating procedures, systems/tools, staffing, drilling, vendors setup, outstanding snag lists, etc. The scope of the ORR covers Safety, DC Security, DC Engineering Operations (DCEO), DC Operations (DCO), Infrastructure Delivery (ID), Logistics and environment, you will be responsible as well for aligning and coordinating with wider stakeholders across multiple teams, capturing the lesson learned from the audited clusters and drive improvement through new regions.

• Build and maintaining overall delivery program and project budget,
• submitting Capital Allocation Requests to Senior leadership to secure finance for project delivery.
• Support continuous process improvement through leading workflow updates, documenting & implementing lessons learned and sharing knowledge across delivery teams to ensure global wide efficiency improvements.
• Regularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics vs. commitment of your projects.
• Manage and hire new team members and lead the right embark plan for each function.
