QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION:
- NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
SKILL SET AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to read blueprints and basic electrical knowledge
- Experience in handling of measuring instruments, equipment and machineries (e.g. lathe machine, grinding machine)
- Experience in mold spare inventory management is an advantage.
- Experienced with reading blueprints.
- Ability to communicate with varying levels within the organization.
- High sense of urgency. Escalate potential safety, process and/or quality issues.
- The ability to work efficiently and demonstrate strong leadership skills, appropriate level of adaptability and stay composed under stress.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail oriented.
- Experience with different types of mold and manifolds systems.
- Has knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead major changes or modifications, confidence.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for training and guiding new or existing technician. Responsible for analyzing machines utilization, improving and ensuring quality output. Maintains and repairs complex issues or mold systems. Works with outside vendors for mold repairs beyond internal capabilities. Assist and partnership with engineer team in protocol / validation for continuous improvements. Updates to engineer of mold conditions, requiring major repairs. Support in receiving of new mold, mold verification. To manage inventory level of mold spares and components. To verify and ensure spares and components received are within specification. Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures. Proactively practice and adhere to EHS and relevant safety protocols, cGMP and other essential compliance procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
