The Role

  • Monitor system to ensure patching is completed successfully
  • Work through live issues
  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and associated infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage the performance, reliability, and availability of the Wintel environment.
  • Implement optimization strategies to improve system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and practices to safeguard the Wintel infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Collaborate with the security team to address vulnerabilities and manage security incidents.
  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex Wintel issues.
  • Mentor and guide system administrators and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and diagrams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Wintel Architect Service - Work with client to deliver Wintel designs for Projects
  • Manage escalations or guidance on extremely complex issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks to ensure the programme delivers against its’ commitments to key internal and external stakeholder groups.
